A Japanese-style bonsai 3D prop for VRChat worlds and homes.

This one is a Japanese maple (momiji, Acer palmatum) with wide-spreading branches.

This one wears the fresh green of high summer. The same thick, twisting old trunk

sends its branches out wide to either side, and every tip carries young maple leaves

still translucent with new growth. It is named "Hekiun", meaning azure cloud.

1. Import the unitypackage into a Unity project with the VRChat SDK (Worlds) installed

2. Drag the prefab into your scene

3. Switch the shader to liltoon or similar if you prefer

What was generated by AI:

The base 3D mesh and its base-colour texture were generated with Meshy, an

image-to-3D AI tool. The input was a reference image of a bonsai that we prepared

ourselves; no third-party artwork or scanned model was used as input.

What was done by hand, without AI:

Retopology and decimation to a VRChat-friendly triangle budget, material setup,

scaling to real-world size, prefab construction, multi-angle quality inspection,

product photography and packaging. The fresh green summer foliage of this variant was produced by a

deterministic hue transform of the baked texture written by us - no AI was involved

in the recolouring, and the geometry is unchanged from the crimson original.

Rights basis:

The model was generated under a paid Meshy plan, which grants full commercial and

resale rights to the output. Meshy states that its models are trained on legally

obtained, properly licensed data.
