Go AFK. Hatch when you're back.
Go AFK and your avatar disappears inside an egg. When you return, it cracks open and leaves a piece of shell on your head.
Friends can rest a hand on top to make the egg sway, or tap it three times to make it shake.
Pick your shell.
Chicken, Dragon and Avali are all included.
Chicken has a cream shell, Dragon has green and gold scales, and Avali has blue spots.
What's included
You get all three eggs with separate PC and Quest prefabs, with the animations and materials already set up. The Substance 3D Painter (.spp) projects for all three eggs are included for texture editing. You only need Painter if you want to edit them.
PC has sound effects and extra glow. Quest uses mobile materials and has no sound. The avatars in the demos aren't included.
Add it to your avatar
Import the package into your avatar project with the VRChat Avatars SDK and VRCFury installed. Drag one egg prefab onto your avatar's root, choosing PC or Quest for your upload.
Open AFK Eggnap > Test to try the animation without going AFK. Check how the egg and shell cap fit your avatar before uploading.
Before you buy
You'll need Unity, the VRChat Avatars SDK and VRCFury. This is for humanoid avatars and requires some avatar setup in Unity.
The egg scales with your avatar. Unusual proportions may need adjustments so the shell cap sits right and the egg covers the feet.
Interactions depend on your Avatar Dynamics permissions. The Quest prefabs have been previewed in Unity; I still need to test them on a Quest headset and check the interactions with a second player in VRChat.
Use & support
Use AFK Eggnap on avatars you own and edit it freely. Please don't share, resell or redistribute the files, including edited versions, or include them in other assets or bases. If someone installs it for you, you need your own copy.
